The latest statistical updates have been released for population data on Tuesday 6 June 2023. There were an estimated 4,327 people on the island at the end of April 2023, of which 4,171 were estimated to be resident, and 156 were visiting.

Diabetes Awareness Week 2023 – Event Information

Here on St Helena, it is estimated 1 in 4 people are taking medication for diabetes and around 400 people are living with prediabetes.

Visa And Mastercard Merchant Services Now Available To St Helena
6 June 2023
b=Businesses on St Helena can now apply directly to Ryft Pay to be able to accept Visa and Mastercard payments from customers. The funds from Visa and Mastercard payments can be deposited into a business’ Bank of St Helena (BOSH) account or UK bank account. To express an interest in the services that Ryft Pay offers, and to begin the application process, businesses should contact Ryft Pay directly at support@ryftpay.com.
