Persons visiting the Meteorological Station (MET Office) at Bottom Woods, are asked to make themselves known to the staff in Operations as per the on-site signage.
MET Station Manager, Lorimar Bennett, explains:
“Along with several weather sensors and sensitive equipment at the station, we also produce hydrogen on-site. In order to ensure the safety of the public and to protect this equipment, it is important that visiting persons first report to the office for a Health & Safety and Site Awareness Brief before proceeding anywhere else on-site.”
The MET Office is restricted to authorised personnel only.
Those wishing to visit the MET Office are asked to contact Operations on tel: 24422 or email: metoffice.ops@helanta.co.sh or alternatively contact the Station Manager, Mr Lorimar Bennett, via metoffice.901@helanta.co.sh.
