A formal meeting of Legislative Council will take place on Monday 19 September 2016 at 10am in the Council Chamber. The meeting will be broadcast live via SAMS Radio 1.
The primary purpose of Monday’s meeting will be to elect a new Deputy Speaker of Legislative Council, following the resignation of Mrs Margaret (Cathy) Hopkins MBE, in August.
The Order Paper will also include one Motion and the meeting will conclude with the customary Adjournment Debate, when Councillors will have the opportunity to raise various issues relating to St Helena.
