HEART MONTH

 February is the British Heart Foundation’s Heart Month. Their slogan this year is

‘Heart disease is heartless – it tears families apart’

During February, the Health Promotion team are focusing on looking at ways to ensure your heart is kept in the best condition.

A series of short video clips by the British Heart Foundation will be shown from Saturday 13 to Wednesday 17 February – giving viewers an insight into heart disease, plus showing case studies of people tackling problems with high blood pressure, smoking, obesity, high cholesterol and diabetes.

The programme will be shown at the following times

• Saturday 13 February at 7pm
• Sunday 14 February at 7pm
• Monday 15 February at 7pm
• Tuesday 16 February at 7pm
• Wednesday 17 February at 7pm

Please note that the SAMS Newsbite programme will follow the first four screenings of the British Heart Foundation film.
