The Careers Fair 2015 will be held at Prince Andrew School on Wednesday 28 October 2015, from 10am to 3.30pm and 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
Working closely with private and public sector employers, the Lifelong Learning Service intends this year to focus on potential opportunities arising from the future economic development of the Island.
The annual Careers Fair allows organisations to network with potential candidates positively raise company profiles and connect with school leavers.
Participants in this year’s event include Enterprise St Helena, St Helena Bank, Solomon and Company, Connect St Helena, G-Unique, South Atlantic Media Services Ltd and the St Helena National Trust. This year additional presentations and demonstrations will be held in order to allow more detailed discussions and further interaction with those attending.
Cynthia Bennett, Work Development Coordinator, said:
“This is going to be an exciting event for all those who are contemplating developing their careers – relating to all members of the community, including students. Be sure not to miss this great opportunity.”
Private and public organisations who have not yet registered and are interested in setting up a stall, giving a presentation or participating in the fair generally – should contact Cynthia Bennett on Tel: 22607 or Email: development@education.gov.sh no later than Wednesday 30 September.
