ACTING ATTORNEY GENERAL APPOINTED

Angelo Berbotto has today been appointed as Acting Attorney General of St Helena, Ascension Island and Tristan da Cunha, while the substantive Attorney General, Nicola Moore, is absent from the Territory on overseas leave.

Angelo, whose substantive role is the Crown Counsel (Civil & Child Protection), took the Prescribed Oaths before Acting Governor Sean Burns in the Governor’s Office at the Castle (photo attached).

Nicola Moore will return to the Island on 17 January 2016.
