The Roads Section of ENRD would like to remind the public that they are currently undertaking a maintenance programme on all drainage-related issues in Jamestown.
As part of this maintenance programme, it has become necessary to carry out trenching works in front of The Market. These excavation works will be done by a mini digger and dumper.
While the main road in front of the Market will remain open, traffic management will be in place to ensure the safety of the public and the Roads Team. This will include flagmen to guide traffic during excavation works.
The public is asked to adhere to all signage and flagmen and advised to use extreme caution when driving in this area.
Other drainage structures in Jamestown will be cleaned in the weeks to follow.
