BRITTNEY COLEMAN GAINS POLICE WORK EXPERIENCE

The St Helena Police Directorate was pleased to welcome Year 12 Prince Andrew School student, Brittney Coleman, for work experience between 13 and 16 August during her end-of-school year holidays.

During this time, Brittney, who is working towards a career in Criminal Psychology & Forensics, received an insight into the work of the Police.

Brittney said:

“This opportunity has been very insightful, and has given me the chance to get an idea about what goes on inside the Police Directorate. It has been very interesting, allowing me to familiarise myself with different topics, making a real positive impact on my career choice. I would definitely encourage other young people to gain work experience with the Police Directorate.”

Acting Chief Inspector, Jonathan Thomas, said:

“It was a pleasure hosting Brittney. We were more than happy to assist her in working towards her chosen career path and we wish her well with her studies.”
