AIRPORT MAJOR INCIDENT EXERCISE – WEDNESDAY, 7 NOVEMBER 2018

Members of the public are advised that a Multi-Agency Major Incident Exercise is planned to take place on Wednesday, 7 November 2018, to test our response to an Emergency Incident at St Helena Airport.

Volunteers are required to play the following roles during the Exercise:

  • Members of the public waiting to meet relatives arriving on the flight
  • Members of the public visiting the Airport
  • Passengers suffering from  minor or serious injuries

The Exercise will start in the morning and last for most of the day. Transport will be provided to and from the Airport leaving from the Grand Parade at 9am and returning to the Grand Parade for no later than 3pm.

Refreshments will be provided.

If you would like to volunteer, please contact the Emergency Planning Department with your details and the role you would be willing to play by Friday, 28 September 2018.
