EDUCATIONAL TALK TO BE AIRED ON LOCAL TV
A film of the Educational Talk on the upcoming General Election which took place on Thursday, 29 June 2017, at the Museum will be shown on Local TV 1 this week.
The talk gave potential candidates and other interested persons an opportunity to find out how Elected Members work with St Helena Government Officials and how different officials support and interact with Members.
Featured in the film are presentations from HE Governor Lisa Phillips, Assistant Chief Secretary (Support) & Returning Officer Gillian Francis, Chief Secretary Roy Burke, Financial Secretary Dax Richards and Attorney General Angelo Berbotto. The presentations gave an overview of the election process and how Councillors will be supported following election.
This film will be shown on Local TV 1 at the following times from this evening, Monday 10 July, and tomorrow evening, Tuesday 11 July 2017:
