A formal meeting of Legislative Council will take place tomorrow, Friday 15 September 2017, at 10am, in the Council Chamber. This is the first sitting of the first meeting of Legislative Council and will be broadcast live via SAMS Radio 1.
The Order Paper includes seven Sessional Papers, ten Questions for oral response and two for written reply. There will also be four Motions relating to Law Revision (Miscellaneous Amendments) Bill, 2017, the sourcing of goods off-island, Government Landlord Housing and recycling on St Helena.
The meeting will conclude with the customary Adjournment Debate, giving the recently elected Councillors the opportunity to raise various issues.
