From 1 October 2017, the following changes will be made to Public Transport Services on St Helena to further improve the service offered to the public:
The following new journeys will be introduced:

| B – Jamestown to White Gate | Saturdays – 1.40am |
| B – Jamestown to Plantation House | Tuesdays -10.45am |
| B – Plantation House to Jamestown | Tuesdays – 12.35pm |
These additional journeys will enable late night travel on Friday night/early Saturday morning. Travel opportunities to Longwood House and Plantation House once per week are also being introduced. Whilst targeted at those wishing to visit these tourist attractions, the journeys are available for anyone to make use of.
Due to very low demand, the following journeys will cease from 1 October 2017:

In addition, and also due to lack of demand, Route A journeys from Bottom Woods departing at 9.15am on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays will terminate in Jamestown and no longer travel on to Ladder Hill. Route C departing Levelwood at 5.30pm Mondays to Fridays will no longer travel on to Bottom Woods after travelling to Levelwood but will terminate at Longwood Avenue.
St Helena Government is currently negotiating with the Service Provider for public transport services to operate to and from St Helena Airport on Saturdays (and Sunday when the flights to Ascension commence) to coincide with arrival and departure check-in times. Details of this service will be provided in due course.
