RMS ST HELENA OPEN DAY AT TILBURY, LONDON

SATURDAY 11 JUNE 2016

The RMS St Helena will be open to visitors at the Port of London cruise terminal in Tilbury on Saturday 11 June 2016.

In anticipation of a significant demand from people in the UK to visit on this day, timed slots will be allocated. Application for a timed slot can be made through the website www.intercruises.com/rmssthelena.

The website will accept applications from 10 am UK time on Monday 16 May 2016. A maximum number of four tickets can be requested by one applicant and applicants will need to complete the application form on the website for each person, providing contact and photo ID details. The RMS has to comply with International Ship & Port Security regulations and therefore everyone boarding the vessel will be required to have photographic ID in the form of a Passport or Driving Licence.

The timed slots will be at 09.00hrs, 10.30hrs, 12noon, 13.30hrs, 15.00hrs and 16.30hrs and visitors will be asked to arrive half an hour before their allocated time slot. At 19.00hrs the RMS will move to the cargo terminal to begin freight operations.

Tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis and all applicants will be advised by no later than Wednesday 25 May 2016 if they have been successful, when they will be provided with further details.

The nearest train station is Tilbury Town – regularly served direct from Liverpool Street Station – and a shuttle bus service will operate between Tilbury Town railway station and the cruise terminal on that day.
