Cruyff Buckley of Half Tree Hollow this morning took the Oaths of Office for his new role as an Elected Member, in the presence of Governor Lisa Phillips at the Castle (photo attached).
Cruyff now serves on Legislative Council following his successful win at yesterday’s Polls.
Councillor Buckley commented:
“I feel very privileged to be representing the people who believe in me and who took the time to vote. I hope that I will be able to make a difference.”
Governor Lisa Phillips added:
“I am delighted to welcome our new councillor and I am really looking forward to working with him to improve the lives of St Helenians.”
