Governor Mark Capes has appointed a new Administrator for Tristan da Cunha, Mr Alex Mitham.
Mr Mitham took up his post on 23 September 2013 and replaces previous Administrator, Sean Burns.
In addition to his post as Administrator, Mr Mitham will also serve as the Island’s Magistrate.
