The public is advised that in addition to the Jamestown road works planned for Sunday, 7 August and Sunday, 14 August 2016, the Rock Guards will also be removing loose rocks that have collected in the netting above Munden’s Road.
In the interest of public safety the road will therefore also be closed from the Arch to the landing steps at the Wharf between 7am and 4pm on these days. No vehicles or pedestrians will have access to lower Jamestown from the Canister to the seafront during this time. As normal, emergency vehicles will be granted access.
Diversion signs and traffic management will be in place and car parks in these areas will be unavailable.
