HOW DO YOU SAVE WATER?

POSTER COMPETITION LAUNCHED IN ISLAND SCHOOLS

In our Island-wide efforts to reduce water use on St Helena, a poster competition on ‘How Do You Save Water?’ has today been launched in Island schools.

The competition will run for three weeks, closing on Tuesday, 28 February 2017. It encourages pupils and students to display through artwork their most creative ideas on how they are saving water during our current water shortage.

Connect Saint Helena Ltd will be sponsoring first, second and third cash prizes for the most creative water saving ideas submitted in the following age categories:

  • Early Years: Nursery & Reception
  • KS1: Year 1 & 2 students
  • Lower KS2: Year 3 & 4  students
  • Upper KS2: Year 5 & 6 students
  • KS3: Year 7 to Year 9 students
  • KS4/5: Year 10 to Year 13 students

Entries must be submitted to Class Teachers and will be judged by the St Helena Warning & Informing Group.

All posters will be publicly displayed at the end of the competition.
