COLLECTION ARRANGEMENTS
Those that have made applications for free child car seats under the Police initiative will be contacted to confirm arrangements for the collection and fitting of their seats.
Further car seats are available to anyone who has not yet applied. These will be available on Saturday 9 April – outside the Passenger Terminal on the Sea Front – on a first come first served basis from 2pm to 5pm.
These seats will be provided free to families on St Helena, subject to a household income of less than £25,000, with funds provided by SHG’s Safeguarding Children Board.
Two types of car seats are available, one for children weighing up to 25kgs and one for children weighing from 9 to 36kgs.
