The public is advised that the following changes have been made to the Order Papefor the formal Legislative Council meeting to be held on Tuesday 14 March 2017:
The Employment Rights (Amendment) Bill, 2017 and the General Amendment (Gender Equality) Bill, 2017 will not be presented at the meeting on Tuesday.
These items have been removed from the Order Paper as the Attorney General must now leave the Island earlier than planned to be able to attend business meetings on 27 & 28 March that cannot be re-scheduled. The Attorney General was due to leave the Island on overseas leave and business on 18 March but has had to bring this forward due to the RMS’ longer journey arriving in Cape Town on 28 March.
