There have been a number of reports on local radio and on social media about the number of tenders received in relation to the air service provider contract. Some reports have even gone so far as to name the interested organisations. These reports are incorrect.
Until the procurement process has been completed, information about bidders will not be released by St Helena Government and will remain ‘Commercial in Confidence’. Announcing bidder information at this stage could potentially compromise the procurement process.
SHG Procurement will now manage the process in accordance with the procedure set out in the tender documents.
