PLANNING & PREVENTION PROCEDURES
The Adult Social Care Team has produced Planning and Prevention procedures, which are now available at: https://www.sainthelena.gov.sh/safeguarding/
Social Care Officer Patra Duncan, commented:
“Our scheme is about identifying vulnerable adults in the community between 18 and 65 years of age who are isolated, rely on informal support and where there is a risk of harm developing without additional support.
“It is about building trust within the community and helping to keep people living independent lives, safe from harm.”
