Mrs Maureen Thompson of Half Tree Hollow was yesterday, Monday, 25 March 2019, elected as Deputy Speaker for Legislative Council.
Maureen was chosen to fill the role following a secret ballot by Elected Members during yesterday’s formal Legislative Council Meeting.
Maureen will now deputise for the newly appointed Speaker of Legislative Council, John Cranfield, as and when necessary.
