The Learning Opportunities Fair 2019 will be held at the St Helena Community College (SHCC) from 10am to 6pm tomorrow, Wednesday 26 June.
The Fair will comprise a busy programme with short presentations, taster sessions and opportunities to engage with staff, tutors and training providers both here and overseas.
The SHCC would also like to remind all Year 11 school leavers, together with their parents and others contemplating enrolling into the Apprenticeship Scheme, that there will be an Apprenticeship stall at the Fair which will provide an ideal opportunity to gain first-hand information on this scheme.

The Learning Opportunities Fair will promote training opportunities which are available through the St Helena Community College (SHCC). The event will provide an opportunity to network and share experiences and will promote the importance of continuous education in developing the Island.
The Learning Opportunities Fair is different to the Careers Fair which is a biennial event, that aims to provide a host of information ‘under one roof’ on careers, to deliver guidance in career choice and progression, and to inspire people to learn and encourage personal development. The next Careers Fair will take place in October 2019.
