The following is a Public Announcement from HM Customs, Income Tax, and Port Control:
HM Customs & Income Tax
The HM Customs & Income Tax department would like to advise the public that their office at the Jamestown Wharf will close for business from Thursday, 10 January, through to Tuesday, 15 January 2019.
A Customs Officer will be on-call during this closure for emergencies and vessel clearance only.
HM Customs & Income Tax services at the Wharf office will open as normal at 8.30am on Wednesday, 16 January 2019.
Port Control
The office of Port Control will be closed on Thursday, 10, and Friday, 11 January 2019. During this period of closure, Port Control Officers will be on-call via tel: 22287.
The office of Port Control will reopen at 8.30am on Monday, 14 January 2019.
These closures are due to various maintenance works needing to take place.
Any inconvenience caused is regretted and HM Customs, Income Tax, and Port Control thank the public for their support and cooperation.
