Safeguarding Director, Tracy Poole-Nandy, would like to inform the public that the Directorate has relaunched its ‘CARE’: Caring And Respecting Everyone Campaign.
The Safeguarding Directorate has various vacancies across the service, including in all residential services supporting older people and adults with additional needs, and sheltered housing services. This campaign aims to recruit local carers for the residential services, and for individuals requiring support in maintaining a degree of independence and quality of life.
As part of the ‘CARE’ Campaign, Safeguarding staff will also carry out two Roadshows in June 2019. Staff will be out and about in the community to meet with anyone wanting to know more about the Directorate and/or considering a career in social care.
Dates and times are as follows:
Date | Time | Venue |
Tuesday, 4 June | 11am – 2pm | Longwood Supermarket |
Thursday, 6 June | 11am – 2pm | The Market, Jamestown |
The campaign will conclude with an open-door recruitment event at the Princess Royal Community Care Centre (CCC) on Friday, 7 June 2019, from 12 noon-5pm.
