NEAR THE CASTLE GATE
The Forestry Section of the Agriculture & Natural Resources Division (ANRD) will be undertaking pruning works on the Bougainvillea near the Castle Gate in Jamestown on Monday, 14 August 2017, between 9am and 3.30pm.
Nine car parks – from the Castle entrance on to the Public Works Service Department gate – will be unavailable during pruning works.
The public is also advised that tree surgery work will take place on the Silky Oak trees in the moat near Donny’s Place, at the seafront, on Tuesday, 15 August 2017, between 7.30am and 3.30pm.
Twelve car parks – from the Cenotaph on to the entrance to Donny’s Place, seven car parks on the upper side of the main road and five car parks near the safety rails at the Sea Front will be unavailable for the duration of this work.
