SHG wishes to advise the public that due to bad weather on the Falklands and subsequently a delay in the regular RAF flight from the UK, it has become necessary to delay the departure of the RMS St Helena from Ascension, to allow connection with the delayed flight. The RMS will now depart Ascension today, Tuesday 30 August 2016.
At this time it is envisaged that the delay will not have any impact on the scheduled arrival time at St Helena on Thursday, 1 September 2016.
