Chief Secretary Roy Burke will return to the Island later than planned due to a family bereavement while on overseas leave.
Mr Burke who departed the Island on 18 August 2015 was due to return on Wednesday 7 October, but for compassionate reasons, he will now return to St Helena on Saturday 31 October 2015.
Gillian Francis will continue the duties of Acting Chief Secretary, and Carol George as Acting Assistant Chief Secretary (Support) during this period.
Departing the Island on Friday 9 October 2015 will be Acting Attorney General Walter Scott. Mr Scott – who is Solicitor General on Ascension Island – undertook the duties of Acting Attorney General from 24 September while the substantive Attorney General Nicola Moore was on overseas business.
Ms Moore will return to the Island on Wednesday 14 October 2015.
