St Helena Government has signed a contract with Air Partner, a commercial organisation that sources charter flights around the world, to charter a plane to transport affected passengers from Cape Town to St Helena. The flight will also enable those passengers who were impacted by the cancellation of Voyages 255 and 256 of the RMS, as well as passengers on V257 who have been affected by issues with the Airbridge to Ascension, to travel from St Helena to Cape Town.
Air Partner has entered into an agreement with SA Airlink to carry out the flight which is due to arrive mid-week. Some details still need to be finalised before an arrival time can be confirmed but we are currently looking at an arrival on Wednesday, 3 May 2017.
Further details will be released tomorrow, Tuesday 2 May.
