Vetting

Vetting checks will be conducted as part of our pre-employment checks undertaken on potential employees.   These checks are conducted by the St Helena Police Service (for locally based candidates), Disclosure and Barring Service checks (for UK based candidates).  All other candidates are vetted through their relevant Police Service.

For categories of employment which are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act, 1974, enhanced criminal record screening will be required.
