The Marine Compliance and Enforcement Sections works alongside of Marine Stakeholders to ensure that they are aware of and complies with the Marine Laws/Regulations to protect and preserve our Marine Environment.
Laws that is enforced by the Marine Compliance and Enforcement Section are the Fisheries Ordinance, 2021, as well as working with the Chief Environmental Officer to enforce the Marine elements of the Environmental Protection Ordinance 2016.
