Job Description

Volunteering with SHNT offers the fantastic opportunity to be part of our conservation efforts and gain invaluable experience; raising awareness of our work through environmental education and community engagement. If you are an enthusiastic and proactive individual with a passion or interest in working in the St Helena’s natural environment then this is the ideal volunteer position for you.
There are four main teams that you can volunteer with: Invertebrates, Vertebrates, Millennium Forest, and Marine. Activities vary depending on time of year, and volunteers can work within one team or spend time with each to gain a holistic view of all SHNT’s conservation projects.

No prior knowledge or experience is required; you will be provided with all necessary training about the environment you’re working in, conservation methods, species identification, survey techniques, data analysis, and community engagement.
