Forest Worker – Forestry Section

Are you interested in working outdoors and supporting environmental sustainability?

The Forestry Section is looking to recruit a Forest Worker to assist with labour services under the supervision of the Nursery Chargehand, Silviculture Officer, or Forestry Officer.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Tree seedling production and nursery support.
  • Manual forestry tasks such as land clearing, ground preparation, planting, thinning, pruning, fencing, and cleaning.
  • Control of invasive and alien plant species.
  • Harvesting sawlogs, firewood, and fence posts as directed.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and contributing to the island’s natural environment.
