    (No routine blood tests available)

A 24-hour emergency laboratory service is available outside normal working hours.

Food, Water & Environmental Testing

The laboratory carries out microbiological and chemical testing on food, water and environmental samples to support regulatory compliance, public health monitoring and investigations. Services include:

  • Food and water testing
  • Environmental sample testing
  • Public health investigations
  • Specialist microbiology advice and support

The Food & Water Laboratory is accredited by UKAS to ISO 17025 standards.
