Seen by clinical need or order of arrival. Walk-in only – please arrive before 12.30.

Nurse Led Clinic/Triage (Appointments Only)

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

2pm – 4pm

Dressings, minor procedures, blood pressure etc. Triage if necessary.

When arriving for Doctor/Nurse appointments or Triage, you must report to medical records first.

Triage Information

  • Patients attending triage should arrive early.
  • Patients will first be assessed by a nurse.
  • If clinically necessary, patients may:
    • see a doctor the same day,
    • receive a later appointment,
    • or be referred to pharmacy services or over-the-counter treatment advice.

Morning Triage Restrictions

Patients attending for:

  • dressing changes,
  • ear syringing,
  • suture removal,
  • blood pressure monitoring,
  • or other minor procedures

will not be seen during morning triage and will instead be booked into an afternoon appointment slot.

St Johns Villa

Antenatal Clinic (Appointments Only):    Monday starting at: 9am

Sexual Health Clinic (Walk In): Monday and Tuesday starting at: 9am

Smear tests, sexual health, family planning etc.

Doctor Led Gynaecology Clinic (Appointments Only)

Wednesday and Friday starting at: 9am

Child Welfare Clinic: Mondays (Appointments Only)

  • There will no longer be morning drop in sessions for Family Planning at St Johns Villa.
  • Repeat Family Planning can be dealt with by the nurses at any clinic setting (except Jamestown), or on Tuesdays in St Johns Villa by drop-in.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy appointments continue to be booked directly

  • Appointment Cancellations

If you cannot attend your appointment, please telephone to cancel as soon as possible so the appointment can be offered to another patient.

  • Community Nurse Home Visits

Community Nurses may arrange home visits for services such as:

  • dressings,
  • blood tests,
  • and other clinical care.

Home visits are generally available for patients who are:

  • housebound,
  • disabled,
  • or receiving palliative care.
  • All home visit requests are assessed by the nursing team.
