Currently our Primary schools are transitioning from three mirror schools into two schools; an EFYS/ Key Stage one (KS1) and a Key Stage 2. Both schools are currently undertaking a rebranding process to include names, values, etc.
The new KS1 school will be located in the Longwood District using the previous Halford Primary School site which is currently being renovated to meet the relevant standards. While these works are being carried out the KS1 school is temporarily located in the St Paul’s District using the previous St Paul’s Primary School site.

KS1 and KS2 primary schools on St Helena deliver the UK National Curriculum, covering Literacy, Numeracy, Science, and non-core subjects like History, Geography, Music, ICT, PE, PSHCE, RE, Art, and Design Technology. The curriculum incorporates local and extended activities to include local History/Geography, Cooking, Craft, and Music.
Early Years (Nursery/Reception) follow the UK Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, using purposeful play and educational visits which includes local content.
