Head of the Governor’s Office, Judi Leon, was sworn in as Acting Governor yesterday afternoon, Monday 20 March 2017.
Judi took the prescribed Oaths in the presence of the Sheriff of St Helena, Mrs Ethel Yon OBE, husband Mike Shryane and colleagues in the Governor’s Office.
Judi’s appointment is effective immediately.
HE Governor Lisa Phillips departed the Island yesterday on overseas business and leave. The Governor will return to Island on 16 May, this year.
