Applications for the prestigious Chevening Scholarships Awards Programme are now open and will close on 6th October 2026.
Offering a fully funded one year’s master’s degree in the UK, the programme aims to create a global network of exceptional leaders with shared values and world class knowledge who can drive sustainable development in their communities and beyond and help address the world’s most pressing challenges.
To be eligible for a Chevening Scholarship, candidates must:
- Be a citizen of a Chevening eligible country.
- Hold an undergraduate degree that allows entry into a UK master’s programme.
- Have at least two years’ work experience after completion of their undergraduate degree.
- Must not have studied in the UK previously with funding from a UK government-funded scholarship
- Must be resident on St Helena or another ODA eligible overseas territory at the time of applying and must return to their home country for a minimum of two years following study.
- Apply to three different university courses choices and receive an unconditional offer by 8th July 2027.
