Minister for Safety, Security and Home Affairs Gillian Brooks, departed the island on Saturday 11 July to travel to South Africa for personal reasons.
In Minister Brooks’ absence, Councillor Derek Thomas has been assigned ministerial responsibility for the Safety, Security and Home Affairs Portfolio.
