£26,000 per annum including market enhancement
The Harbour Master/Port Manager role is focused on enhancing the quality of life for everyone

in our community and fostering the prosperity of the island by overseeing the management of St

Helena’s Port, ensuring safety, efficiency and international compliance. The port and cargo

management facility is part of the Islands critical national infrastructure handling over 95% of all

food, fuel, equipment and general supplies to St Helena. The Harbour Master/Port Manager

serves as the authoritative figure for coordinating the daily operations, management, and

development of the port of Jamestown, along with any other designated harbours and landing

sites, and will undertake any additional responsibilities necessary for the effective management

of the position.
