Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, St Helena Government has taken the measure to implement quarantine for arrivals. Arrivals who are fully vaccinated will be required to quarantine for 7 days. Any arrivals who have not been fully vaccinated will be required to complete a 10 day quarantine period.
In order to support you during quarantine, the St Helena Government requests that you complete an Entry Questionnaire before your arrival to St Helena so we can put any supportive measures available in place.
The questionnaire is available on line at the point of booking and you are encouraged to complete the questionnaire 7 days before your intended arrival to St Helena Island.
The purpose of this questionnaire is to enable a Proper Officer to establish if the property is suitable.
You may propose your own home, a property which friends or family are willing to loan to you at your own expense or a property you are willing to rent privately at your own expense.
Any property that you intend to quarantine in on St Helena must be unoccupied unless you are considering a bubbling arrangement.
Please Note: Bradley’s Camp Quarantine facility will no longer be used. All arrivals must have pre-arranged quarantine accommodation.
Once the property has been assessed and confirmed to be suitable, you or your nominated person will be expected to display the appropriate signage at the property, this can be collected from the Environmental Heath Team/ Proper Officers before arrival or issued on arrival at the airport.
Please note: asymptomatic and mild cases of COVID-19 will be managed in home quarantine but should there be more serious cases of COVID-19, these will be transferred to the medical treatment facilities at Bradley’s Camp for monitoring and treatment.
Ascension Island passengers who have spent 10 days or more on Ascension Island prior to their arrival to St Helena Island will be granted entry under the inter-island corridor arrangements and will therefore not need to quarantine.
Please have the following information available when completing this questionnaire:
- Passport details or travel document you will use when you arrive at the border (passport details are required for all persons if travelling as a family/ group and quarantining at the same address)
- Contact details (email address and telephone number)
- Quarantine accommodation details (Landlord name, contact details, property name address, property features/ facilities [bedrooms, etc.])
- Flight date and flight number
You do not need to complete this form if you’re transiting St Helena destined for Ascension Island.
Should there be any changes in the information provided after you have submitted your form, for example your travel details or quarantine accommodation information you will be required to complete a new questionnaire.
If further information is required you may contact the COVID-19 Co-ordinator, via email firstname.lastname@example.org.
All information provided will be treated as confidential and will only be viewed by staff in the Health Directorate and SHG employees who are bound by confidentiality.
