Linda has spent the past 24 years working for the Prison Service, starting in 1993. She has progressed through the ranks within the service and has spent two years working as Acting Deputy Prison Manager.

Linda said:

“This is a career which I very much enjoy. I was offered the role of Deputy Prison Manager and gladly accepted. I feel privileged to take on this role and look forward to the challenges it will bring. I would encourage young Saints to work hard and take advantage of every opportunity given to them.”

Acting Chief of Police, Wendy Tinkler, concluded:

“I’m delighted to give the approval to appoint Linda as of Deputy Prison Manager. This is a crucial role in the Prison Service and Linda should be extremely proud of this achievement. She is following a family tradition as her father was previously a Prison Warder on St Helena. I wish her every success in her new role.”
