YOUR LAST CHANCE TO SEE THE RMS IN ACTION – RMS OPEN DAY, FRIDAY 9 FEBRUARY 2018

Would you like to go onboard the RMS for one last time? Or maybe you have never even been onboard? Perhaps you just want to say a personal goodbye? Well now’s your chance.

The RMS St Helena will hold an Open Day on Friday, 9 February 2018. This is a last chance for members of the public to see the RMS in action before she departs on her final voyage from St Helena the following day.

People taking advantage of the Open Day will be able to visit The Bridge, from where they will get a birds-eye view of the cargo decks and open deck spaces. The lifeboats will also be open so visitors can see what they look like from the inside.

Visitors will see the Sun Deck and Pool area, Sun Lounge, Main Lounge, Dining Saloon, Hospital and a selection of cabins on all three decks.

If this sounds like something you would like to do, then book now with the St Helena Tourist Office.

There are a limited number of tickets available so check out this week’s newspapers for further details including available time slots.
