Justin Rothwell, Senior Aerodrome Inspector from Air Safety Support International (ASSI) was on-Island between 29 August and 5 September 2015. The purpose of his visit was to undertake an assessment to verify the conditions required for intermediary use of the runway for calibration flights.
Following these assessments, Basil Read has been granted temporary approval.
Further information will follow as plans for the calibration flights progress.
