The public is reminded of the upcoming consultation meeting on the two proposed sites for the new Prison in the Bottom Woods area of Longwood, to be held by Elected Members and Government Officials on Wednesday, 15 November 2017, at 7.30pm at the Harford Community Centre.
The two proposed sites are:
- West of the Met Station
- An area further up, known as the Goat Pen Area
The public, in particular, residents in the Bottom Woods area are encouraged to attend the meeting in order to obtain details of the proposals and to provide their views and comments.
The layouts of the proposed sites can be viewed in the Foyer of Essex House and at Longwood Supermarket. Anyone wishing to make any comment on the proposed sites for the new Prison may do so in the comments book that has been placed in the Foyer of Essex House or via email to the Secretary to the Prison Project Board, Miss Nicole Plato: nicole.plato@sainthelena.gov.sh by no later than Thursday, 30 November.
