Teacher Sharon Peters completes Level 3 Supporting and Teaching Learning Course

Additional Learning Needs Teacher, Sharon Peters, has successfully completed the Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning course with Stonebridge College following a year of online study.

The course consisted of four assignments – communication and professional relationships with children, young people and adults; schools as organisations; understanding child and young people’s development; and understanding how to safeguard the wellbeing of children and young people – and a final which summarised the entire course. Each assignment consisted of approximately 11-25 questions.

This course was led by an online tutor and supported by previous Teacher Trainer, Gary Cameron.

Sharon commented:

This course took a lot of time and commitment and was challenging at times. I am very pleased to complete and pass the course and I will now take on those skills to help me progress in my future role. I would also like to thank those who supported me in any way throughout.”

Director of Education & Employment, Wendy Benjamin, added:

“Sharon is to be commended for successfully completing this course.  She will now put her learning into practice as she undertakes her new role as Additional Learning Needs Teacher in the Inclusion Service. Well done Sharon!”
