SEA CONDITIONS

The public is advised that a significant south-westerly swell has been forecast for this week, starting from tomorrow, Tuesday 30 May 2017, and is likely to continue into the weekend.

Although it is not envisaged that this swell will cause any issues for maritime traffic, the public is asked to use caution when swimming in James’ or Rupert’s Bay and to take care when parking at the Sea Front.

Port Control will be monitoring conditions and may restrict access to the Sea Front and Wharf area if conditions worsen.
