The Education Committee would like to advise that all Primary Schools will be closed on Monday, 20 November 2017. This closure is a mark of respect for the passing of Mrs Alice Phillips.
Prince Andrew School, the St Helena Community College and the management and administration sections of the Education & Employment Directorate will open as normal.
The Education Directorate would like to thank parents and guardians for their understanding and support for this closure, recognising the lifelong contribution made by Mrs Phillips to the young people of St Helena as a Teacher, Headteacher and Education Officer.
