POLICE APPEAL FOR INFORMATION

BURGLARY AT LONGWOOD

St Helena Police are appealing for witnesses with regards to a burglary that took place at a residence and business property in the Longwood area between 6pm on Saturday, 22 September 2018, and 9am on Sunday, 23 September 2018.

A large amount of St Helena pounds was stolen, together with a black metal Clark digital-keypad safe and a small grey metal cashbox.

Should anyone have any information, no matter how small it may seem, about the burglary, cash box, safe, or even noticed an individual spending an unordinary amount of cash, they are urged to contact Detective Constable, Joe Phippard, on tel: 22626 (ext 210). Your call will be treated in confidence.

DC Joe Phippard said:

“This is another crime against the community of St Helena with a real loss felt by the individuals and the business involved. Working together, we can stop and prevent this type of crime from spreading.

“Please keep an eye open for any of the stolen property or any suspicious activity by any induvial, including spending amounts of money that is out of the ordinary for that individual to do so.”
