Nominations Close at Noon Tomorrow

Returning Officer, Gillian Francis, will be in the Council Chambers in the Castle from 12noon to 1pm tomorrow, Wednesday 21 October, to allow candidates and their sponsors to inspect nomination forms for candidates who are standing for election.
Nominations for the West can only be inspected by candidates and their sponsors who are also standing for election in the West and likewise for the East.
While the deadline for receiving nominations is 12noon tomorrow, candidates who have not done so, are urged to submit their forms before this deadline so that any errors can be corrected in time.
Those who are attending the Human Rights Workshop at 9am tomorrow, can submit their nominations at 8.30am tomorrow morning or they can excuse themselves from the workshop to get their nomination form submitted and checked by the Returning Officer Gillian Francis or the Assistant Returning Officers, Bobby Essex or Desmond Wade. The Human Rights workshop will finish shortly before 12noon.
Gillian has received a number of nominations already and welcomes other nominations from anyone who is keen to be a Councillor on St Helena for the next four years.
